From the time they arrive, our daycare dogs are grouped with other dogs of similar size and temperament. We do not cage our daycare dogs except for cleaning and our half hour tour windows. Our small dogs occupy the front office and the bigger guys stay in our play room. We take the dogs outside frequently throughout the day. Fresh water is available at all times.
If your dog doesn’t do well in a group or would prefer to be with only people we are happy to provide daycare for them. We love pitbulls (and pit mixes) but we do not put them in group play. They enjoy the company of our staff doing what they enjoy, such as playing ball, getting belly rubs, etc. There is an additional fee for one-on-one daycare.
We also provide daycare for cats and small animals. Cats are placed in our cat condos for the day and small animals are kept in the enclosure you provide.
DOGS: All dogs in our care must be current on rabies, distemper/parvo and bordetella vaccines. We recommend everyone keep their dog on a quality flea and tick preventative.
CATS: Rabies and FRVCP. We must have a copy from your vet showing your pet’s name and the expiration date for the vaccines. All cats staying with us must be spayed or neutered. We recommend that you keep your cat on a quality flea and tick preventative.
TO ALL GUESTS:
All animals staying with us must be free of obvious contagious disease/health concerns.
When providing your shot records you can (or have your vet):
Fax the records to (321) 264-4742
Email the records to firstname.lastname@example.org
Text a picture of the records to (321) 246-4104
We do not feed our daycare dogs with the exception of puppies up to the age of 12 months. Food must be provided daily in a single sandwich bag serving. If you do provide food please know that we will confine your dog to a kennel for their feeding. Some dogs will not eat when they are separated this way. We will let you know if your dog did or did not eat their provided meal.
We do not give treats to the daycare dogs to prevent jealously or guarding behaviors.
DOGS: When entering and exiting the building, all dogs must be in a carrier or on leash. Leashes cannot exceed 6 feet in length. Please keep all retractable leashes locked into a short length. Please write your name on your carrier.
CATS: When entering and exiting the building, all cats must be securely locked in a carrier. Please put your pet’s name and your last name on your carrier.
Monday through Friday, we offer an early drop-off window for our established daycare pets from 7:00am to 7:30am. Once you have arrived and are ready to give us your pet, please call the office phone number (321) 264-4226. A staff member will come to the door to take your pet. We keep the door locked during this time and do not answer the phone before 7:00 am or after 7:30am. If you miss this early drop-off window please wait patiently for our office to open at 8am. Our staff needs this last half hour to finish caring for our boarded guests.
When picking up, please allow enough time to complete the check out process so that the transaction is completed before we close. Any late pick-ups will be charged additional fees.
